SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR YEARBOOK POSES
MADE BY YOUR SCHOOL

If your school is NOT listed, they may not have requirements.

NO SCHOOL will accept a horizontal pose, a pose with hats, sunglasses or tee shirts with sayings for yearbook poses. You may however use any pose for  your personal portraits.

 

Requirements are set by the school and not Melino Photo

 

Classical

Updated as of 9-29-2021

No more than a mid chest pose.  Simple backdrop suggested but not mandatory.

 

Pilgrim

Only head and shoulders or head and torso (waist up) will be accepted for a yearbook photo Clothing must be APPROPRIATE. Male identifying students. (no t-shirts) A shirt and tie or a collared shirt required for Female identifying students should have school appropriate necklines. No props, hats, hoods, graphic tees, etc. are allowed in the photo submitted for yearbook Indoor modest backgrounds are suggested but not required. Outdoor backgrounds may also be used, but poses must meet the above requirements

Toll Gate

Clothing should be appropriate, with no profanity, drug or alcohol advertisement no more than a mid chest pose. Simple backdrop is suggested but not mandatory.  

Lincoln

Seniors photos are shoulders-up portraits and a blue background is required. Dress should be appropriate with NO GRAPHICS or MESSAGES on front of shirts, straps should be 3” wide.

 

Ponaganset High School

Dressed in school appropriate clothing (no beer, pot shirts, etc.). It can be indoors, outdoors, have props, full body or just a portrait from the shoulders up.

North Kingstown

Students must wear shirts that fully cover the front, back, and sides under the arms and pants/jeans or the equivalent (dress, shorts, skirts, etc) and footwear. Undergarments must not be visible.

NKHS reserves the right to edit photos used in the yearbook.

 

South Kingstown

No more than a mid chest pose.  Simple backdrop is suggested but not mandatory.  Hands and arms showing OK.
